Angiosperm weed diversity of Puliyankulam, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudis District, Tamil Nadu, India

Survey on the weed plant diversity is an important activity to assess existing flora. A total of 139 species belonging 108 genera 36 angiosperm families have been documented. 52% Angiosperm them are herbaceous. The present study was enumerated 23 documented in family Euphorbiaceae and Fabaceae, followed by Asteraceae with 21 species, Acanthaceae 20 Amaranthaceae 18 observed as dominant families. In this article, family, botanical name, habit, vernacular name various applications recorded plants systematically.
